"I, William Henry Beck, of 115 Cannon Street, in the City of London, Consulting Engineer and Patent Agent, do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement: This invention relates to that class of registers and indicators commonly called street car or fare registers wherein is employed in a trip register formed by a step by step revolvable index moving over a foxed dial and a permanent register formed by a set of adding wheels..."
