"Burton Richard Philipson, Engineer, 10 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows: My present invention refers to the manufacture of food for cattle & other animals which is known as dreg or slummage. It is a sediment made from spent liquor which has been used to make spirit which liquor is known as wash. The ordinary method of preparing this material is by allowng the wash to stand in large shallow ponds made of concrete or brickwork..."
