Patent No. 19,403 A.D.1894 Improvements in and in the Production of Letters and Figures for Signs, Display Tablets, Addresses, and the like, principally for Advertising Purposes.

"I, Arthur Harris, trading as A. Harris and Sons of 132 Bristol Street, in the City of Birmingham, Manufacturing Plumber, do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement: This invention relates to improvements in, and in the production of, letters and figures for signs, display tablets, addresses, and the like, principally for advertising purposes, as hereinafter described, and consists primarily in making the said letters from circular, angular, half-round or other cross-sectional metal or other tubing or moulding..."
