1866 Black Swan, Leek transfer of License Walter Brunt to Thomas Keates

An application document dated 17th May 1866 signed by Walter Brunt f the Black Swan, Sheep Market, Leek to transfer the License to sell exciseable liquor to Thomas Keates, shoemaker of Ball Haye Green.   Has signatures on the reverse declaring that a copy of the document has been left at the residence of William Wright Lawton, one of the Overseers of the Poor and John Torr, one of the Constables.  Has been folded.
