Seller's Description
1846 "(anchor) ROGERS (anchor)" - Oyster/seafood fork - Believe the pattern to be "Shell".
Trademark used for about two years (c. 1865-1867) when William Rogers formed the Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. Later the trademark was used by International Silver Company.
This fork is 5 3/4 inches in length and exhibits the initial "N" on the handle. Maybe a restaurant impression? Only normal wear and no deep scratches or dents.
Views show the piece, the trademark and a handle closeup.
