Great COMPLETE SET of two antique leather books from 1794 containing a collection of familiar and amusing letters by famous people of the time (see title page for list of people). Complete set of two volumes. Both volumes contain the four books and appendix mentioned in the content pages. Photo 23 shows antique pen writing and a personal home library label on the inside cover of volume 1. Photo 24 shows the same for volume 2. Bindings and other pages inside each book are in great condition especially as the books are 229 years old.
Each book measures 24cm tall x 15.25cm.
