This entry hole protector is made of steel and is zinc coated to resist weathering. The center hole measures 1 1/4 inches and the total width of the guard is 2 3/4 inches and 1/8 inch thick. The predator guard comes with 2 screws for mounting on your birdhouse.
This is by far the best predator guard you can purchase. I have tried guards made of copper or aluminum and I have seen squirrels chew right through them. That doesn't happen with these solid steel guards.
