Detailed Condtion : It seems like probably all of the packages have a few bands that have become hard and break. So far it seems like most of them still are not hard and do not break.

ONE package of 50 Small mini poly latex style hair bands.
The blonde packages seem to lose their flexibility & shine over time. The ones from 2013 became more of just a yellow tinge, lost all their shininess, & were entirely brittle & broke. The 2015 did the same a few years later.
The brunette packages are from 2013, & seem to have also lost their shininess & original look now, and some of the bands in these have hardened and broken also. It seems like more in each package are still elastic than hard.

They have no metal, in the color and style pictured.
