Butterick 5849 Sewing Pattern Misses Dress Gown Size 12 14 16 Used
Selling this 1991 vintage, used, "Classics" Butterick pattern. All the pieces are there, but piece #13 - Front Interfacing, for dress C & D, has been used to lengthen to other pattern pieces, so it may not be usable. Some pattern pieces have been cut others are uncut or untrimmed. Please see the Pattern inventory, below.
A couple of the extension pieces have been cut to size 12 on one side but extended quite a bit on the other side. I've listed this pattern at half of what I normally start a pattern at, as I fell it is lacking in quality.
This pattern will make 6 different styles of dress.
The envelope is in poor condition with quite a few rips that have been taped up..

NOTIONS: Dress A,B,C,D,E,F: 22" (55cm) Zipper and Hooks and Eyes.
FABRICS: Dress A,B,C.D,E,F: Taffeta, Lt.wt. Satin, Moire, Lt.wt. Damask and Faille. Contrast B (Sleeves): Lace Contrast C #1 (Sleeves): Organza Contrast C #2: (Bow and Knot): Satin.

Don't you just hate it when you buy a pattern and there is a piece missing, or some pieces are cut to a smaller size then listed or worse yet some of the enclosed pieces are not even for the pattern you bought?
I have seen this with some of the patterns that I buy or that are given to me to sell.
That is why I take the time to inventory every piece of the pattern. I give you an accurate list of what is in the package, no surprises. Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the picture from the instructions showing the different item views and the piece identification chart, the size chart and a scan of the actual pattern pieces. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.
Please Note that I ship patterns via letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item
