All of our tapestries are handmade from 100% natural calico (cotton) and dyes made of pomegranate, henna, pistachios and indigo flowers.  They are all preshrunk and machine-washable in cold water (air dry).  They can be used for decoration on walls, ceilings, doorways and furniture—as blankets, dust-ruffles, pillowcases, napkins or curtains!   All of our bags and shirts are made from these tapestries, folded and stitched; and all of the above are of authentic Persian design, made  by traditional methods in the ancient Persian capital IF YOU LIKE TO SEE THE PROCESS HOW THE TAPESTRY IS MADE BY HAND AND WITH NATURAL MATERIAL AND COLORS PLEASE WATCH THIS LINE ON YOUTUBE: youtube.com/watch?v=czWq9eyLJrc MEANING OF DESIGNS The work of making tapestries is an act of worship.  Every design represents an allegory with a long-standing historical significance.  Zoroastrianism, probably the world’s oldest monotheistic religion, is the basis of most of the traditional Persian designs.  The process of creation, the harmony and rhythms of world, and respect for nature and social diversity are all ubiquitous.  Some of the most pervasive examples are as follows.    1.  The process of culling the raw materials from the earth and mixing them together represents the natural elements coming together, bringing the artist closer to god by imitating the original creation.   2. The number 4 represents both the seasons and the classical elements of nature: earth, water, air and fire, with love in the center, represented by the medallion of god.   3.  The Zoroastrian god, Mazda, holds in his hands the ring of intellect which elevates the status of humanity above the animals and unites us with him.  He flies with wings having three layers of feathers, representing good thoughts, good deeds and good speech, with his tail-feathers representing the negative counterparts. 4. The paisley combines three symbols: a womb, a child in the arm of her mother, and the peacock feather in the crown of the emperor.  Thus, the paisley represents both nurturing and authority, primary qualities of divinity. the most famous Gods of Aryan were Varuna(oranous),Mitra(the light of Sun),Anahita(venus),Varahran(Mars),Khashateria(Mercury),Atur(light and heat) and some others . Each of these Gods that made diffrent impression and effect of human's life they worship them in diffrent ways. All the Gods of Aryan's tribes were considered as sky (heaven)substances that they would appearing with glory in the Nature phenomenon to manage the world .and the believe was that they are eternity.the most importat Iranian's God was Mitra (mehr)which is in Iranian language a single adejective(quality)and were using the same meaning as today we use as kind, nice, mercy, compassion and Mehraban which is still in iranian Language means ban is the person who save and support the kindness and Mercy and mitra were giving love and power and energy to all existance no matter animals, human, plants, that would have the light and give life and mercy that they were the manifestatiion of life, awake, movement and all the happeiness and beauty was from this source, and so on the changes of seasons, rain and growing plant so mitra was the image of the absolut mercy, kindness for all and this was for all good and bad with the same quantity,so they believed that we also should try to have the same nature of mitra so cause the nature of Mitra is love and Mitra is created by Ahuramazda and Mitra loves all the creation of Ahuramazda so the human should also have the same love to all creation which ahuramzda created . so til now in the whole human history which any other religion do we know that the moral regulations has so much space in its worship and its worship in it's reality and substance is to exercise and practise to to think and be nice (nice in english is from an old Iranian word which stil today they use it in Iran and they pronounce it NIK) so so far we understood that the Mitra itself is created by Ahuramazda and as we said before the two Gods DIVA and Asura that asura after long time that the later Aryans Pronounce mostly instead of S =H so as 39 x 39 inch or 80 x 80  CM WHICH IS GOOD AND PERFECT FOR DECORATION AND  FOR 2 CHAIR TABLE, TABLE RUNNER,COFFEE TABLE,WALL HANGING OR TOP OF THE BED ON WALL  All of our tapestries are handmade from 100% natural calico (cotton) and dyes made of pomegranate, henna, pistachios and indigo flowers.  They are all preshrunk and machine-washable in cold water (air dry).  They can be used for decoration on walls, ceilings, doorways and furniture—as blankets, dust-ruffles, pillowcases, napkins or curtains!   All of our bags and shirts are made from these tapestries, folded and stitched; and all of the above are of authentic Persian design, made by traditional methods in the ancient Persian capital,SYRUS THE GREAT FOUNDED PERSIAN EMPIRE 6TH CENTURY B.C AND WROTE THE FIRST HUMAN RIGHT CHARTER (HUMAN RIGHT LAW) THAT SLAVERY WERE FORBIDDEN,MEN AND WOMEN WERE EQUAL AND RELIGION WAS FREE IN 3 CONTINENTS AND IN 28 COUNTRIES UNDER HIS EMPIRE AND THE TOLERANCE OF ALL CULTURES,RELIGIONS,TRADITIONS AND ALL WAS RESPECTED AND ACCEPTED,AND THIS IS HAPPENED 2600 YEARS AGO WHICH IS AMZAING .THEREFORE IN PERSIAN LANGUAGE FOR SHE/HE OR IN GERMAN FOR SIE/ER  IS ONLY ONE WORD AS OOU WHICH MEANS MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL AND STILL TODAY IT IS THE SAME WORD IN PERSIAN LANGUAGE  IF YOU LIKE TO SEE THE PROCESS HOW THE TAPESTRY IS MADE BY HAND AND WITH NATURAL MATERIAL AND COLORS PLEASE WATCH THIS LINE ON  youtube.com/watch?v=czWq9eyLJrc .youtube.com/watch?v=uP9bmTstvR4&feature=related   THIS IS ABOUT SYRUS THE GREAT  .youtube.com/watch?v=k4_4QC3xXBI   MEANING OF DESIGNS The work of making tapestries is an act of worship. 2. What makes the diffrent between the Aryan (caucasian)tribes(in second millunium B.C) than all other ancient world tribes is that they were the only tibes that did not believe in Idols or Gods ,their Gods were the substances of nature manifestation (we have to mention that this is an evolution which started 14000 years ago )which was the time that cause of the wheather and atmospher changes cause of a period of time not having enough grass and food cause of not enough rain and then a period of cold wheather )the Aryans live became harder and not having enough food for all the Aryan tribes The most important Gods of Aryans were Sun,Moon, the stars,Storm, lightning and in General they were naming them as Diva and Asura the most famous Gods of Aryan were Varuna(oranous),Mitra(the light of Sun),Anahita(venus),Varahran(Mars),Khashateria(Mercury),Atur(light and heat) and some others . Each of these Gods that made diffrent impression and effect of human's life they worship them in diffrent ways. mostly instead of S =H so asura changed to Ahura
