Item paid for but not received. Basically the seller stole my money. A terrible first experience on ebid. I paid for this item via Paypal 25 days ago (January 30th 2014) and still haven't had anything through the post even after the seller said it was sorted out and claiming that all items are “posted within 5 working days”. Getting the seller to respond to messages was like pulling teeth. 5 days after paying for the item, and not hearing anything, I asked if they had received the payment. The seller said they had been on holiday and was sorting it out. Another 5 days pass and no item. After another message to the seller asking if they had posted the item (no reply) I followed the ‘item not received’ guidelines on ebid. 16 days after paying for the item I sent a direct email to the seller saying I would leave negative feedback and report them to ebid and paypal if I hadn’t had a response or the item hadn’t arrived. Minutes from the given deadline the seller replied saying the item was on its way and the delay was down to them having to find it. Nothing arrived. 8 days later I messaged again via ebid asking when the item was posted. No response. So now it’s February 24th 2014 and I’ve finally decided to leave negative feedback after giving the seller plenty of time to apologise, provide a refund or an alternative solution. I don’t like to do it but I will be passing this onto ebid and paypal. I’ll also be going back to ebay and leaving ebid well alone!
