Some Information About retirementfund
I run our home, looking after the house and garden and, of course, my lovely husband Charles! My main hobbies include buying and selling on auction sites. My Positive Feedback on Ebay as Delightful_Little_Lady is over 1000 Our main site can be found here.
I also look after our 6th grand child three mornings a week, to keep me young at heart!!!
I enjoy designing websites. My main website that I am always updating is my father's story of his time as an observer on Wellingtons in WW2 in Bomber Command. He spent 20 years writing a Roll of Honour for his Squadron. If you are interested in contributing to the RAF Benevolent Fund or just curious about his wartime experiences please visit his site click here
I design cards and pictures for my family and friends using Paintshop Pro.
Entertaining friends and family is another one of my hobbies, with barbeques and dinner parties.
Knitting, dress making, gardening, crochet, embroidery are also high on my list of activities and anything that uses my creative skills. If you are interested in homeproduced crafts of mine please click here
Cookery is another one of my likes and I am always devising new recipes
I am a member of our local Amateur Radio Society where my husband has just retired as the Chief Course Tutor providing the courses. If you are interested in becoming a Radio Ham you might find our Society's FREE On-line Courses very helpful. please click here
I am also a great auction sites fanatic. I have purchased many items that have helped me in my hobbies, housekeeping, gardening, Christmas etc. If we need it, I search auction sites first before I hit the shops! I am now starting to branch out and actually sell items !
I sell articles that I would buy for myself. They are therefore high quality. These articles are either bought off the internet and maybe they do not fit me properly so I re-sell them or they come from a tidy up in the house and my "impulse" buys get put on auction sites. Many of these type of items are brand new.
I also sell new products that I have made through my various craft skills or my husband's own handmade pottery pieces called Darleyware.
I also sell items that taking up room and that I do not now require. I would rather they go to someone who can make use of them than just languishing around in a cupboard collecting dust.
I describe the items fully and therefore do not expect returns. I also encourage people to ask questions before they commit themselves to bid. I have met new friends locally through auction sites and believe in its ethos. I use auction sites and Paypal's safety policies to the full when let down by any bidder. Luckily this has been very rare. I have found the Auction Community very friendly if you treat everyone as you would wish to be treated yourself.
I will only accept payment for auctions with Paypal. This is because my Paypal account funds my auction hobby and safeguards the buyer. Any cheques will be returned to the sender.
