Some Information About nyjohn
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
I'm from a small town in New York. My wife calls our house a mansion under permanent repair. I've been retired for 7 years and loving it. My work breaks could last 2 months or more. My wife and I make an annual trip to Kansas to see my two daughters, son-in-law and first granddaughter. The girls graduated from KU and decided to stay there. Every two years we go to a Navy reunion in a different city in the United States. I was on another auction site since 1998 and decided it was time to move.
My past practices (which I intend to continue) is to try and make buyers happy. I don't charge handling fees. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated by a seller. One thing that I do is email each buyer as soon as possible after coming home from the Post Office to tell them that their package has been mailed. As far as feedback goes, I provide my buyers with comments as soon as possible after payment is received.
I wrap packages as well as possible. Postal Clerks have made comments about my neatness. Since I mostly sell paperback books, I use boxes to ship except when there is just a small number of books. If I don't use a box I wrap the books in plastic to ensure moisture isn't a problem. I ship using Media Mail unless the buyer requests a different mode. The USPS lists longer delivery times than I've experience. Most of my feedback from the other website comments include fast delivery.
I welcome any comments and questions about my auctions.
Thank you in advance.
