I’ve been buying and selling vinyl records, CDs, books and other items on eBay for the past 25 years and have an excellent feedback record (nearly 9000 positive from different users and over 10,000 from total users). My user name is the same on eBid as it is on eBay - nickcrow, so you can check out my reputation.

eBay have introduced a buyer protection charge for buyers (unnecessary if you send items tracked as they're insured anyway), and what they call “SIMPLE DELIVERY” (far more complicated in my opinion!), so life has become awkward for the small time seller on eBay

I’ve decided that I would prefer to control the way I sell my items and am therefore giving eBid a go.

What I Do:-

1. I describe my items as thoroughly as I can, pointing out any wear or blemishes as best I can.

2. I will respond to questions about items as quickly as possible.

3. I only sell within the UK.

4. I only send my items via Royal Mail (It’s still the safest and still the best in my opinion).

5. I use Royal Mail 2nd Class postage (with proof of postage) and Tracked 48 unsigned for service (compensation available for lost/damaged items) for higher priced items.
