Some Information About lantana
Hi,
I am a retired local government officer who up until recently have dealt exclusively with ebay where I had a feedback score of over 3000. Like many others I have become disallusioned with their latest ideas and look to find an approprate alternative.
The majority of my 'sales'have been stamps,and I have been a collector for many years - but do not consider myself a "philatelist" (they are the collectors who specialize in one area) whereas my collecting is far more general. My sales tend to be the duplicates that I have accumulated over the years - priced at what I would be prepared to pay. One area which I feel strongly about is the amount charged by some sellers for postage/packing - I believe that this should cover the costs but not be used as an excuse to 'bump up the bid amount.Wherever possible I will post multiple items together to save on the postage.
Selling my duplicates is a 'hobby' and is a way of paying for my own collection and it is one that I have enjoyed for the past 8 years - long may it continue.
