Some Information About knappschiles
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
We are a family vegie farm
specializing in hot chile peppers.
We make a killer hot sauce from our peppers, and a fantastic jam from Door Co. cherries and the hot sauce.
As a vegie farm Knapp's has been growing since 1976. Crops and acreages vary from season to season, but we usually have from 20 to 45 acres in vegies. In addition to the vegies, we grow 8 - 12 acres of giant gray stripe sunflowers for bird seed. We also grow about 1/2 acre or so of the smaller multi-flowering types for cut flowers.
We sell all of this stuff at local farmer's markets. We were at the West Allis, Wi. market for 20 years. We have also been at the The Dane Co. Farmer's Market for more than 15 years. We are there almost every Saturday from May to Nov. That market is better known as the market on the capitol square. I think it's the best market in the midwest, and some rank it only behind San Francisco's in the whole country.
Here you will find SEEDS for Peppers, Tomatoes, Squash and Sunflowers. We will also have a few growing supplies and of course our great Nightmare Pepper Sauce.
