Hello! I have been eager to try Ebid for some time, and I am glad I finally have the chance. I have been selling on Ebay for years and it is time to try something new. I have heard good things about Ebid and Ebidders, and I hope to become a fixture here.

Okay a little about me. I was laid off 2 years ago, from a company I had worked with for over 6 years. However, because I was not too fond of my job, I was not unhappy about being let go. I decided to pursue a career in a job field that I really enjoy, and I decided to go back to school full time while looking for employment.

So two years later, I am finishing a degree in Human Services (or social work, as it is more commonly known) and I have managed to work a few temp and part time jobs here and there, both in my field and not in my field. I am the eternal optimist, I believe that I will find permanent full or part time work sometime soon. In the meantime,  I also do volunteer work. I sell online to help make ends meet and to have a little spending money so I can go do something fun every once in a while.

When I am not busy studying, volunteering, or selling, I enjoy reading, making jewelry, repairing old jewelry, making scrapbook pages and other paper crafts, embroidery and cross stitch. Playing with my cat (seen in the picture above "helping" with my studies), making dinner for friends, wine tasting, exploring the lesser known parts of the city I live in, and just relaxing with friends are also high on my list of time well spent.
