Some Information About daspiff
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
After years of selling on another site (which will remain nameless), I became frustrated with the constant policy changes and fee hikes, so I decided to give eBid a go. I'm still relatively new here, so please feel free to contact me if you see anything that doesn't look right with any of my listings or my store, and I'll do my best to get it fixed. Here's hoping for a great run on eBid!
Some notes about shipping for my items:
I'm trying to differentiate from the aforementioned site (which again will remain nameless), which essentially forces sellers to build shipping costs into their pricing due to site policies. Here on eBid, I am attempting to lower the cost of my items and charge the actual (or very close to actual) shipping amount for each sale. This means that buyers that live nearby will end up paying less overall, since I don't have to build in the highest potential shipping amount into my base price.
For international shipments, I only offer Priority and Express International Mail at this time because they are the only international shipping methods that provide tracking information. Tracking information is essential because without it there is no way to verify if an item has arrived at its destination. I realize that these shipping methods are expensive, and I apologize for that. If the post office starts providing tracking information on First Class International shipments, I will be glad to start offering it on my listings. I do include a handling fee on international shipments because Paypal charges extra fees for accepting international payments plus extra time is required to prepare and send international packages due to customs form requirements, etc. Please note that buyers are responsible for any customs fees charged by their country on international shipments. Shipping charges will not be refunded for items returned to me due to unpaid customs fees.
