Some Information About booksnvinyl
We have been a business now on the 'other site' now for about 7 years but are looking here to expand and hopefully stop selling on the other site altogether.
We are based in the Highlands of Scotland. We first started selling at car boot sales and got the bug for it. We started looking at places to buy items to sell, we bought from car boot sales and auctions, gradually building up stock. We sell mainly second hand items as well as some new items. We have thousands of books and records that we will be listing as well as toys, games, collectables, hi-fi & electricals. You name it we've normally got it (or had it!). Our business is growing steadily and we value our customers greatly. Please remember we are only human too and are always happy to help.
Now for the boring bits:
UK BUYERS: We usually dispatch items within 3 working days of cleared payment. We have been selling online for years now so are well used to packing items. We use new and used packing materials. We accept payment by paypal, postal order or cheque. If you are collecting the item from me payment is cash on collection.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Sorry we no longer sell abroad.
RETURNS POLICY: Returns are accepted within 7 days but you must inform me of your wish to return and the item must be sent back in it's original condition, if it's sealed it needs to return sealed etc. Return costs are at the buyers expense, on receiving an item back a refund will be issued once the item is checked to make sure it is in it's original condition as sent to buyer, and that it is the exact same item that was sent (this is done by various security measures I have in place). This should not take longer than 2 days from receiving it back but actually is usually done within a few hours of receiving!
If an item is damaged in the post a claim must be made with the postal service used, it is better if the buyer keeps the item until the outcome of the claim, I can then refund the buyer when the claim has been processed, there would then be no need to return the item to me. If the buyer insists on returning the item to me before the claim has been made they will have to pay this return postage as it is probably an unecessary cost. Also a refund cannot be given until it has been verified that it was damaged in the post and not by the buyer. This is to stop fraudulent buyers claiming for things they have broken/damaged themselves.
THANKS FOR LOOKING
