INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

Weight, location, and size are the main cost factors of postage, especially for international customers. 

I will adjust your invoice and apply discounts, if any. It will show the correct postage cost for your location and type of purchase.

The International postage cost as of 03-07-2024 and will apply from that date. 

(Packing needs to be taken into account with weight and size.)

DL business-size envelope, 220 x 110mm up to 250g, for limited quantities and small items only; 

UK & EUROPE $4.10, U.S & CANADA. $3.90, ASIA-PACIFIC $3.30, NEW ZEALAND $2.85, OTHER COUNTRIES $4.55.

For slightly larger or heavier items, 222 x 160mm;  up to 500g, ALL 15.00, ex NEW ZEALAND $9.50 and OTHER COUNTRIES $16.00. A postage label is used on large sendings.

Anything larger or heavier will not be considered.

Delivery times vary but for North America and Europe, averages at 20 - 25 days.

Payment is with Paypal.

AUSTRALIA POSTAGE

Domestic postage details and costs effective 03/04/2024.

Regular Postage Costs as of 03-04-2024; are $1.50 for single or combined small lightweight items, or $3.00 and $4.50 for larger and/or heavier lots.

Registered Post; is available at cost,  $4.85 plus postage, and extra Insurance if required at cost, needs to be requested before making payment so I can adjust your invoice. 

Tracking Post Envelope; is also available upon request at cost,  $4.20 small, and $6.10 medium which includes postage, and needs to be requested before making payment so I can adjust your invoice.  These are prepaid and stamps are not used.

Postage is only charged once per invoice, though a postage cost will appear for each item purchased, I will adjust your total cost and include siscounts etc. in the invoice I send to you. Postage cannot be refunded if multiple purchases are paid before I send an invoice which includes postage discounts.

I do not keep buyer's information, either on my computer or anywhere else, emails with your details are deleted soon after I receive them so be sure your address details are correct on Paypal, and eBid, as this is where I obtain them if required.

After Sale Log (ASL); For the buyer to view, details such as Feedback, shipping details, tracking info if applicable, questions asked, etc., will be made available on your item/s purchased listing page as soon as possible after the sale completion (select an item purchased to view).

Combining lots for your daily purchases is never a problem, please request an invoice when you finish making your purchases so I can add discounts and adjust the postage costs for your location, your original invoice will show a postage cost for each item purchased I will change this to a single cost in the invoice I send you, You will only ever be charged once for postage on each invoice, so combining your items is recommended.

Most items I have for sale can be combined at little or no extra postage cost.

You will always save money buying from me as I only charge the actual postage cost and do not charge for envelopes, packaging etc..

I usually post within one business day of receiving payment.

Description of items The item's condition can sometimes be difficult to describe as we all have our own opinions, I will try to mention any hard-to-see faults (if any).

Refunds: Should your item not be as described please let me know (my contact details are below), Credit or exchange is available for a valid claim, buyer satisfaction is most important.    

The future of Modern Australian stamps and collecting

Australia Post is reducing the number of stamps being printed in all issues and types, something that is happening worldwide and, with some smaller countries planning to close their Post Office completely, Denmark has already done this. It's not likely to happen in larger countries as the delivery of letters is a vital service, in Australia the Post Office will most likely be taken over by the government as it was pre-1974, however, the digital age will inevitably take over eventually.

All recently issued stamps are scarce and getting scarcer because fewer people are communicating by post anymore. Collecting is in the blood of most humans and stamp collecting will remain right up there, especially so when they are no longer readily available and modern issue stamps will become great rarities, especially fine-used examples. The younger generation is more interested in things other than stamps and collecting generally at the moment, but this has happened many times before and eventually the many benefits of collecting returns.
