Some Information About ant5053
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hello, many thanks for taking the time to read this, I am going to list more interesting organic, handmade, useful and vintage items during 2011. The photo shows some plants and harvest I grew at my fruit and veg plot. In the past, around autumn and springtime, spare plants sold on the internet have been well received by buyers on another famous auction site (eBay where I trade as game371).
I have taken my son along with large numbers of his friends in the park to play football, rugby and fishing to local ponds, lakes and rivers, instead of leaving them to hang around on street corners, so included a photo of a carp we caught on some homemade bait. Fish welfare and the environment are important to me.
Some home published instructions, guidebooklets together with games I have written and made, which are offered with some listings at certain times of the year have been well received by internet buyers on another famous auction site with a similar name to eBid (eBay where I trade as game371).
Many buyers on another famous auction site have found Internet buying is safe and easy from me, because I only send using Royal Mail to all addresses covered by their outstanding service and obtain proof of postage (please always supply full postal address including postcode with your payment). All my listings include a price for postage for buying one item. When you want the goods with buy it now, the total price is already worked out. After clicking on the buy it now you are welcome to send an instant payment using PayPal. PayPal is the fastest payment method for all buyers requiring postage (occasionally I have sold job lots or large items where I prefer cash on collection). Including your delivery address, with full postcode/zip code would be great and helps the post delivery person. You are welcome to send a postal order or a cheque; basically I will keep the process as smooth as possible, without the need for you replying to any unnecessary emails. If the payment is instant the goods arrive quickly, many internet buyers have left feedback on another famous auction site about me saying hassle free transaction.
If you require a price for buying multiple items please email with item numbers and if possible I will work out a price and email back (as soon as possible, within 2 working days at the longest if I am busy at the fruit and veg plot, fishing or charity work).
Please make instant payments via PayPal (this is the quickest way and I have not had any complaints about instant payments: echeques can take ages to clear). Postal order or cheque in GBP Sterling only to the person named in the automatic EBid email are welcome. Please do not send cheques or postal orders in the name of ant5053. Proof of postage obtained at Royal Mail post office, allowing buyers up to £30 free insurance if you supply your full address with postcode / zip code. The only small handful of problems out of a few thousand internet sales tend to be when the package does not fit through the letter box, sometimes a delivery card is not left or occasionally the parcel is left with neighbours, once in a shed and another helpful post person left the package in an old coalhouse without the buyer knowing.
One person asked his partner at breakfast if a package had arrived, she said no, so he emailed me asking for proof of postage, which I supplied. Three days later he emailed me again apologising, saying his partner had just handed him the parcel, which arrived a week ago and she forgot (well you have to see the funny side). Very occasional (nearly always when no postcode/ zip code is provided), should the need arise I now send a helpful email where a tiny handful of buyers have found their packages in the past should your parcel be delayed.
Postage days are usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday for payments cleared before 10 AM. My local post office closes at 12 on Saturday, so instead of rushing - orders late Friday afternoon and onwards are posted Monday. All weekend orders are posted Monday only when payment clears before 10 AM (PayPal instant payments usually clear within around 10 minutes). A dispatch notice will be sent once packed. If under your eBid Account/ my email section you have toggled the box After Auction Log - Mark as Shipped Notifications, an email will be sent when I Mark as Shipped, an AAL entry dispatch notice automatically sent. I will action the automatic email once the goods are packed, so you know your order is on its way. If an item does not arrive by 14 days UK or 21 days international I will supply you with proof of postage (one buyer did not follow this advice and after 21 days the package was returned to me from their local sorting office), so you may claim to the postal service. Some small items sent outside UK stated on listing and would international buyers please pay in British pounds sterling (PayPal is probably the easiest). International buyers are obliged to pay any import duties, thank you.
Once packed your order will be taken to the local post office, where it will be checked by qualified post office staff, postage will be paid and sent by Royal Mail to all destinations covered by Royal Mail’s outstanding service and proof of Posting is always obtained.
Positive feedback is always left following established internet trading guidelines: once the goods have arrived with you, your feedback is posted online, and then the trade is complete. If in the unlikely event there are any concerns about the goods you receive please could you let me know by email within 7 days of receipt, enjoy and wishing you happy trading on eBid.
Thank you for reading, if you have spare time please check out my other items listed on eBid, from Paul.
