Some Information About WoodAndMore
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Amidst a very busy home, family and work life, I've been turning for over 20 years as a very part-time hobbyist. Semi-retirement has at last allowed something more serious and I'm producing a variety of very individual pieces, mainly made up from laminating different types of wood to produce some startling combination of colour and grain.
Keen to be environmentally friendly, wherever possible wood is reclaimed, with discarded furniture, timber from building work, offcuts from larger woodworkers, together with fallen timber, all being common sources. Reclaimed wood often has unique features, some might say defects, such as rusty nail holes and so forth, which all add to the interest. Where wood is purchased for specific purposes, it is always from renewable sources.
Alongside the woodturning, I sell anything that might come along, including the odd items for other people, so there is sometimes a very strange selection of items listed alongside the woodturning.

I have successfully shipped a large number of items overseas, so whilst postal rates are for UK mainland please do contact before buying for international rates. Items are normally despatched using Royal Mail standard services and proof of despatch obtained. Standard rates of Royal Mail compensation are automatically included. Valuable items will require a signature upon delivery. Additional insurance can be arranged if required.
Payment by PayPal is preferred and I normally try and despatch no later than the following business day after payment.
