Hi and welcome to my ebid auctions!
I sell photographs of Railway subjects taken between 1932 and the 1990s - though a few other transport related subjects appear as well.
Personally I am a very poor cameraman, but fortunately I didn't take any of the pictures I have for sale.
All the pictures I sell are the work of people who have used my TOPticl "Photo Preservation Service" -
Because I have processed the original picture I know that every picture I sell here is a print of an original work, not available from any other seller. This means that the copyright remains with me, acting as agent for the photographer.
But if you have a genuine need to publish a photo in a commercial work, or for example, in a society newsletter, then please get in touch and I can arrange the details at a reasonable rate.
My current catalogue has over 35,000 photos and I try and make as many as possible available to purchase here on ebid. I get new batches to process on a regular basis and I then place them here for sale, so keep checking back and look for new pictures.
All the photos are professionally printed on quality photographic paper using the very latest commercial printing processes. I try to maintain a large stock for immediate delivery, but if a sale is made on an out of stock item I set the order/print process into motion and aim to deliver within 10 days of the auction closing. When the item is in stock it is posted 1st Class in a special board-back envelope within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

You will find ebid a very friendly place to do business - but it is not as busy as some other places - so a little tip, all my auctions have a starting bid price and a "Buy It Now" price which is a bit higher. As ebid is not too busy (yet) it means that you have a good chance of winning one of my photos at the lower starting price, if you can wait until the current round of 10 day auctions to finish.
The "Buy It Now" price is just a mechanism that is employed here to make the auction visible on Google and hopefully attract more buyers.
