Some Information About KarlaBarla

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

My name is Antonio Luis. The username of Karla Barla is a throwback to my daughter’s nickname when she was small.

I have collected stamps for over 50 years, first a number of selected countries and as the output exploded, I switched over to various thematics.

I have recently retired and will now be significantly downsizing my collection. Also, over the years I have accumulated extensive stamp holdings as I often bought larger lots just to get the items that I want.

I therefore have thousands of items to be listed. I aim to regularly add new lots to my shop, so kindly bookmark me and check back regularly.

My ethos is to give excellent customer service, treating all customers in the same way as I would like to be treated. This includes using nice stamps on mailings, whenever possible.

To receive my e-mail listing all new additions to the shop, please send me an email with "Update list” in the title and I will add you to the distribution list.

Stamps are listed by theme or topic. If you are interested in a specific country, then please contact me and I will provide a cross reference.

Pricing guide

The main catalogues often differ markedly in their pricing. I have therefore decided to use a major online dealer’s selling prices as a guideline. I have priced most of my items at about 50%-60% of these prices (a lot lower for mint or C.T.O. items), so you should get large discounts when compared with most professional dealers’ prices. Contact me for further details if required.

Shipping costs

Shipping is combined for multiple purchases. Costs vary depending on the weight and destination of the shipment. As an example, for items up to 50g, postage to European countries is €2.50 (registered €6.20), USA is €3.30 (registered €7.50) and Rest of the World is €3.00 (registered €6.30).

Shipping will be combined for multiple items if paid on a single invoice. Please request a finalised invoice before making payment.

Unregistered mail is sent at buyers own risk.

No refund will be issued for non-delivered items if you paid for regular mail without insurance or registration.

Refund for non-delivered items sent by registered mail will be issued after 30 days of shipping date, but only if the item did not reach destination country.

Payment

Payment is requested within 7 days of invoicing. However, at your request, I will accumulate for up to a month, with payment only due at the end.

Accepted payments: Bank Transfer for EEC payments or PayPal “Friends and Family” for other countries. On invoicing, I will send you all the information you need to complete the transaction (account number, bank code, IBAN, BIC, PayPal e-mail etc.).

Returns

Please contact me within 7 days if you are not completely satisfied and I will try my best to resolve the issue.

Mistakes do happen! I know, as I have been collecting for a lifetime.

Please notify me in advance before returning an item.

Returns accepted within 14 days of item reception. Item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

If you are not completely satisfied you can return the stamps at YOUR cost and risk for a FULL refund of the cost of the stamps EXCLUDING the original shipping charges.

Postage will be refunded if the item is defective or incorrect.

Refund given on receipt of the returned item.
