A thing of beauty is a joy for ever [from Endymion by John Keats], also applies to the works of art I sell via eBid. A private collection built up over a period of 30 plus years, but other interests in recent years, and therefore slowly winding down my collection. And although not explicitly mentioned in most of the individual offers, many scarce and rare pieces. In the coming months I will regularly add parts of my collection. Total at least 1.000 individual items, so will take some time.

Quality:
See photos for impression of the quality, defects that are not immediately or clearly visible are always mentioned in the description.
I often get feedback: "in real life more beautiful than expected based on the photos".

Payment:
I don't use PayPal or similar services, payment only via international bank transfer.
Buyers from countries that are not part of the European Union can use the cheap and fast service of Wise, formerly known as TransferWise.

Shipping:
Nowadays, goods must always be shipped with track and trace, but the choice for standard, registered or with additional insurance is of course up to the buyer. Costs vary considerably depending on weight class, country and service. Click DUTCH POSTNL for current shipping rates.

Select 'Small parcel' for option registered and insured up to 50 euro or 'Medium parcel' for options registered and insured up to 100 or 500 euro. Additional cost for insurance up to 5.500 euro is a fixed amount of 10 euro compared to the highest rate per weight class for 'Medium parcel' option.

Example for parcel to the UK with insurance: Step 1 : What is the destination? (Choose a different country) = United Kingdom ... Step 2 : What do you want to send? = Medium parcel with track & trace ... Step 3 : What is the weight of your medium parcel? = Up To 2 kg ... Step 4 : How do you want to send it? = Registered and insured up to € 500 ... Current rate = € 24,50.

Note about compensation in case of loss or damage: Using registered and additionally insured option, there is no guarantee that the full amount will be reimbursed in the event of damage or loss, and compensation may also take some time. Payment therefore depends on PostNL's decision about the amount of compensation and the speed of processing and the actual time of payment by them. In the end, the compensation that the buyer will receive is the compensation paid by PostNL. As for standard packages with track and trace, there is no possibility to initiate an investigation in case a package is lost, or with status delivered according to system, but not actually received. [I have included this note because I know that there is always a possibility that damage or loss is not covered, or may not be fully compensated by PostNL, but actually, and fortunately, I have no recent experience with this myself because for years now, everything has always been delivered in its original state, and usually without delay.]

Additonal note for buyers outside of the EU: Use of a customs form is mandatory, stating the content, value and shipping costs. As a buyer you may have to pay additional costs, i.e. import duties. I know from sales in the past that buyers dit not always have to pay import duties, even for more expensive purchases, but I cannot give a guarantee.
