We are an established family run business retailing in everyday children's character merchandise. Including Bags, Lunch Bags, Bottles, Tableware, Umbrella's, Purses, Wallets, Bedding, Lighting, Partyware, & much more!

We started trading in March 2007 & sell on various platforms including Amazon, eBay, edirectory & now ebid! We do have our own direct website, characters4kids.co.uk  where we offer repeat customer discount, *Free UK Shipping & various other promotions from time to time.

We value our customers & 95% of the time we are always contactable. If the phone rings but I don't answer it, please drop me an email as i'm probably either packing orders, running around after the children or with a customer in our shop but I will happily call you back or reply to your email as soon as I can.


We are 'officially' open Mon - Fri, 9.30am - 12.30pm & 7.30pm - 9.30pm
email's are checked constantly throughout the day, 7 days a week!


Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

Credit / Debit Cards - by phone, we use HSBC Secure ePayments
Google Checkout - Easy & Safe to use, requires email address & password
PayPal - You don't need an accout to pay using a debit / credit card


If you would prefer to pay by other means, Cheque, Bank Transfer, Postal Order, etc please ask for details.


Privacy Statement

We will never use your details for any other purpose other than the processing & dispatching your order. We will never pass on any of our customers details to any 3rd party for any reason whatsoever & we can assure you that we will never email you with promotions or news letters like many other online merchants unless you request them.

All details we have of our customers are kept within our securely hosted website for our future reference only, incase of queries on orders & complaints etc. Payment details (Card processing payments) are all encrypted to high levels of safety using HSBC's secure epayments card processing terminal.

Postage & Packaging

We use a variety of packaging depending on the item/s. Mail Lite Bags (air filled bubble lined envelopes) Bubblewrap, Tissue paper and we recycle boxes to use for packaging more delicate items / larger orders. 

Shipping to UK only on eBid, our rates are:

£0.99 for items under £2
£1.50 for items under £10 
£3.50 for items over £10
£4.50 for items over £20

We use Royal Mail Standard letter post which is approx a 3-5 day delivery, other postal options will follow at a later date but if you require another postal service like signed for or special delivery, please ask!
All orders are dispatched within 1 working day, same day (Mon-Fri) if we receive the order before midday.

Refunds / Returns

Yes of course we accept returns & yes we refund too!

If you are unhappy with the product/s or wish to exchange or made an error in purchasing, please return the product/s within 14 days of the purchase date along with a note of your order number. Refunds will then be made once the product/s is returned. please note this is only on the condition the item is returned at your expense within 14 days of the purchase date.
Postage costs will not be refunded.


Damaged / Faulty Products

In the very rare case of faulty or damaged item being recieved by you the customer, the product can either be exchanged or a full refund will be given once the item is returned 

So that we can also be reinbursed from the manufactures, we may either require the item to be returned to us or photographic evidence of the fault / damage (Requirement of some of the Manufacturers/Suppliers)
Replacements / Refunds will be made only once the item/s have been returned & inspected. Damage caused by wear & tear cannot be accepted as I'm sure you will understand.
If an item is returned at our request due to a fault or damage, standard postage costs will be reinbursed on receipt.
