Wellhouse Studio Pottery Devon, Nutmeg Storage Jar

Nice little pot with a white speckled glaze and the word 'Nutmeg' with lattice decoration on the back. Marked on the base 'Wellhouse Pottery Paignton'. Wellhouse pottery was started in Well Street Paignton by Toni and Raymond Smith in 1964. Artist and manager Peter Greenham bought the business in 1967. In 1982 it moved  to the premises of the old Brixton Pottery and closed in 2002. In good condition, no chips or cracks. Could do with a new rubber seal for the wooden lid.
