Vintage Japanese Maruhon Ware Preserve / Jam Pot A/F

A pretty preserve pot decorated in a lemon yellow basket weave design with orange, red and green majolica flowers. Marked on the base 'Maruhon Ware Made in Japan'. It has two hairlines on the inner rim with staining to the interior. The majolica flowers around the side have had some chipping over the years but the finial has survived with only a tiny glaze flake. Still a nice example of Maruhon Ware. Height without lid 5.5cms, width 8.75cms, width at base 6cms.
