Vintage, 1978 Henry Browne and Sons, Sestrel Hanging Compass, No 2165 - Maritime

You are looking at a vintage, yacht / ships compass from, Henry Browne & Sons and Sestrel. The bracket attached allows the compass to remain level as the boat twists and turns so it can easily be read. Around the diameter of the compass are marked the points of the compass and 360 degree markings. The glass dome part of the compass acts as a magnifier so the compass can be read more easily.

This came off my dads old boat and now needs a new home. Perfect for sailors or lovers of the sea who would like something to decorate their house. In excellent working condition and physical condition, as per the pictures.
