Seller's Description

Genuine Vintage 14ct RG Celtic Pair Of Cuff Links

Hello there and welcome (kroeso) to my wee store.

I sell online in high-end shops and websites and pre-Covid used to attend trade fairs around the globe.  I have a huge stock of "bargain basement" items which were great at fairs for inexpensive extras.  I also have a massive stock of highly valuable and collectable items never seen before on the internet.

I am retiring from trade fairs now so am starting to list some of my more valuable items online, all at bargain prices.

ABOUT THESE CUFFLINKS
Constructed from solid 14ct gold rolled (585 parts per 1000) see below.
Fully assay marked outside UK and tested via x-ray extrapolation.
Lovely unusual Celtic designs to the front.
The style is classic push through hinged back.
Condition is very good, especially considering age.

Front panel measures 22.7mm x 14.3mm
Length of torpedo 17.5 mm
Total clearance 15 mm
Weight is 10 grams rounded up to nearest (for those who care about weight, not quality)

You would expect to pay between £150 and £250 for a quality item like this at a fancy antique shop, depending on your ability to hunt down a bargain.

If you purchase you will have choices at checkout regarding postage:
STANDARD post is not tracked or insured (at buyer's risk)
PREMIUM post is fully tracked and insured.

ROLLED GOLD: Over the decades I have bathed many many kilos of old gold items in acid to purify the gold content back to 24ct.  The older methods did not use thin plates of gold like today's plating but used solid gold in the construction.
Rolled Gold is a technique where solid plates of gold are mechanically fused onto a base metal.  Very high quality and will not wear if looked after.
Over many years my average yield of gold from rolled gold items is 4.2%
For a 14ct item such as this that equates to the outer 7.2% being made of gold.

I guarantee all items to be as described and will accept a return on anything you are not happy with.
Please contact me directly via messaging should you wish to do this.
