Original U.S. 12 inch x 18 inch Advertisement for the 1929 Luther Reed Musical Western RIO RITA, based on the book by Guy Bolton and starring Bebe Daniels, John Boles, Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey.
Capt. James Stewart pursues the bandit "The Kinkajou" over the Mexican border and falls in love with Rita. He suspects, that her brother is the bandit.
The film is based on the 1927 stage musical produced by Florenz Ziegfeld, which originally united Wheeler and Woolsey as a team and made them famous
On the reverse is a gorgeous portrait of Bebe Daniels.
The fabulous artwork is by Ralph Iligan (1893 - 1960).
The Advertisement was on 2 separate pages and has been joined from the reverse with archival repair tape, otherwise it is in very good condition.
