Seller's Description
Replacement Nose Bridge for Oakley RadarLock sunglasses frame.
** These nose bridges can also be fitted to RadarLock XL frames, effectively converting them to standard RadarLock frames and allowing the full range of standard RadarLock lenses (Edge, Path, Pitch or Range) to be used. PLEASE BE AWARE that these nose bridges are NOT a direct replacement for RadarLock XL nose bridges and RadarLock XL Blade lenses CANNOT be used with these nose bridges **
Until now the only way of obtaining a replacement RadarLock nose bridge has been to purchase another frame and use the nose bridge from that. Which leaves you with a spare frame and no nose bridge…
These nose bridges are absolutely identical in every dimension and detail, including weight, to the original part. Created using 3D micro-scanning technology and printed in high-tensile and impact resistant PA12 polyamide, they are very slightly more flexible than the original part; an improvement on the original which makes them less prone to accidental breakage. They have been drop-tested from 10 feet (3 metres) onto concrete and remained intact and unmarked.
Dark grey in colour – the same grey as Oakley’s earsocks and nosepads – they complement any frame or lens. They are shown together with a second frame fitted with an original nose bridge and both with and without lenses in Pics 7,8 and 9.
Removal and fitting: There is a video on Youtube which demonstrates the procedure for removing and fitting a nose bridge (youtube . com/watch?v=aKTur3DRUfQ). Alternatively, if you would rather not do it yourself, drop me a line and I’ll be happy to help.
Please note: This is not an OEM part: replacement RadarLock nose bridges have never been available from Oakley and there is no SKU for them. This listing has no connection to or affiliation with Oakley. The frames and lenses shown in the listing photographs are for demonstration purposes only and are not included in the sale.
Sent Post-Free (2nd Class) in the UK.
Any questions just drop me a line. Thanks for looking.

Questions and Answers
Question From buonanotteantonel [0] Sun 08 Sep 2024 17:51:29 (BST) ...Looking forward to hear from You, Simon. Ps almost impossible to get to You. Sincerely, Antonello Buonanotte, Genova, Italia.

Answer From thesmokingrunner [+957] Mon 09 Sep 2024 18:58:42 (BST) Hi Antonello! It's been a long time. I did email you about 3 years ago when I had the nose bridges made and had listed them but I did not hear from you so thought you may no longer be interested.
I no longer sell on eBay - I moved over to eBid, as you have found - although a friend of mine lists them on that site. For various reasons however (cost of shipping and the introduction of import duty on every shipment) we do not sell overseas and sell to UK only.
I know this may be a problem if you were hoping to purchase a nose bridge but the only thing I could suggest is that you could perhaps have one shipped to a UK address and then sent on from there, although you would still have to pay Italian import duty if it was sent over from the UK.
Let me know if there's anything I can do and I'll help if I can.
I hope all is well with you.
Best wishes,
Simon

Question From buonanotteantonel [0] Tue 10 Sep 2024 09:40:40 (BST) Maybe I can send You the asked amount in a mail envelope and then You can send the nosebridge as a"present"to me. Important is that I pay for the purchase...
|
Answer From thesmokingrunner [+957] Tue 10 Sep 2024 10:48:08 (BST) Hi Antonello.
I'm sorry, but that's just not going to be possible. I have just had a look at
shipping to Italy: firstly it would cost €11.50 and secondly I would still have to
complete a Customs form - whether or not it was sent as a present - and if it
was not declared correctly it could not only cause us both trouble but it
could also be destroyed.
It is because of shipping costs and customs issues that my friend and I no
longer sell to overseas buyers: it is too expensive and too much trouble to fill
out all the forms. If you want to risk having a nose bridge sent as a present
the only thing I can suggest is that I could ship it to a UK address and you
could have it sent from there, though there is a risk that it could be
impounded by Customs in Italy and you may never receive it.
Alternatively if you ever visit the UK I could ship a nose bridge to where you
are staying and you could take it home with you. I can offer no other
solutions, sorry.

Question From buonanotteantonel [0] Tue 10 Sep 2024 13:00:08 (BST) Hello Simon, thanks for the reply. If, in the future You can sell the item, it would be fine to know how... However, don't You think that "sending to another address in the UK" looks as a complicated way to do things. In the past, I had a re_painted M_Frame from the UK, it did arrive without any problem. It wasn't arranged via E _bay, just between me and the painter... I sent Him the frame first, then a mail check(plus normal postage payment) and it did arrive. Sorry for the inconvenience and disturb. Take care, Antonello.

Answer From thesmokingrunner [+957] Tue 10 Sep 2024 16:27:20 (BST) Hi Antonello,
I really am sorry I cannot help at the present time but if I do decide to sell overseas in future I will of course let you know.
I have also just received 3 warning messages from eBid as it apparently appears that I am trying to agree an off-site sale with you. I have contacted them to explain the situation but I would be grateful if you did not make any suggestions like that in future as it could get both of us into a lot of trouble.
Take care,
Simon

Question From buonanotteantonel [0] Tue 10 Sep 2024 18:11:23 (BST) No problem, Simon, the question is... "To sell or not to sell" it's absurd to wish to buy and can't due to rules...
