Seller's Description
This is a chance to bid on an original OOAK sculpture made by Kirsten Flores of Quernus Crafts.
I recently came across this marvellous egg cup with feet (in John Lewis, if you're interested!) and I knew that a few wee chicks would want to play with it! The first wee chick appeared during the last Brew and a Blether, and you can see the short time-lapse video of his creation above.
The four wee chicks are made from polymer clay with semi-precious black onyx eyes. The chick climbing up the side of the egg cup is permanently fixed to it, but the other three are free-standing. The egg cup itself is ceramic and measures 7cm wide anf 5cm tall. The wee worried chick standing next to the egg cup is 3cm tall, and the two chicks standing on top of each other are 6cm tall. These two can stand inside or outside the egg cup (which means they can get up to more mischief!)
The sculpture is signed with my artist's mark and comes in a smart presentation box with a signed certificate, and will be sent carefully packaged by Tracked 24 post within the UK and by International Tracked post for overseas. Because of recent changes in legislation, I am not currently posting to the EU or Northern Ireland - sorry (for more information, click here).
