Rare book: 'Nordisches Blutserbe im Suddeutsche Bauertum' ('Nordic Blood Inheritance in South-German Peasantry') by Wolfgang Willrich (Munich: Verlag F. Bruckmann), 1938. 1st Edition. Cloth boards with gold lettering to the cover and spine.

No dust jacket, 16 8vo. text pages, 64 full page prints (many in color) of Willrich's work depicting the 'Aryan' ideal in portraits of 'peasants' of all ages from southern Germany.

WOLFGANG WILLRICH (1897-1948) was a German artist who created idealised art depicting men and women in styles that glorified and personified the 'volk'.
