This sale includes only the CD-ROM, and a generic CD case with artwork that I found on the CD. No manual. This software will not run on my PC as my machine is too new.

The Mayo Clinic pioneered CD-ROM technology that uses personal computers as family home medical advisers in the early 1990s, and this latest version adds significant on-line and moving video features to the mix.
The Mayo CD-ROM amounts to an encyclopedia of health subjects searchable by topics such as symptoms.
A reference guide to 4,000 drugs describes each medication in detail as well as allows a user to select several medications and then discover whether taking them together can produce unwelcome side effects.
With a computer's power to search huge amounts of text, the CD-ROM lets people with health problems type in various words describing symptoms, health problems, drugs and the like and then find whatever the Rochester, Minn., clinic's physicians have had to say on the subject.
The product also comes with the Netscape World Wide Web browser, set up to allow users to seek breaking medical news and special help on-line. The Mayo home page at http://healthnet.ivi.com includes the clinic's monthly magazine as well as a news group where people can discuss medical questions and a chat area where doctors answer selected questions on-line.
