CP8 Eurosec Risco keypad alarm BRAND NEW, still in box.

If your numbers are hard to press it would be wise to replace before you may get to the situation where the alarm can not be switched off.

These keypads are now obsolete, replacing the keypad is cheaper than a full new system and no programming required.

There is no alternative keypad for this system.

If attempting to replace DIY, remove power from panel completely for safety. 

(External bell box may ring for upto 15 minutes whilst power is completely off). Your bell box may be able to be placed in engineers hold off before removing power, this will depend on your bell box and how it is wired and in some cases if you have access to an engineers code).

or If you have the engineers code and can still type it into the keypad, place the unit in engineers mode before opening the panel.

You can then down power the system for safety.

Remove screw cap cover.(slotted head screw driver required not supplied)

Remove retaining screw (phillips/ posi head screw driver required not supplied)

When you open the old unit up, take a picture of the wiring and you can refer to this when wiring in the new keypad.

Once wired and back in place you can power the system back up and take out of engineering as required.

If you down power the panel completely you will need to reset the time and date, this can be done from a user code.
