For Kia Picanto I SA 1.0L 1.1L 2004-2011 Brake Master Cylinder Repair Kit

I was in same situation when I had Picanto, but luckily being from engineering family I have used my skills to cure the problem completely. It took me about 1year of loosing and winning stories but on the end cured it for good.

I do believe in your skills but please bear in mind this is honestly not easy task, please leave this task for any nice day when you will be 100% fit to work with as a lot of thinking will be involved, your thinking, as instructions is only basic. This is not "step by step" solution, however I'll provide basic instructions, if you're not familiar with car repairs, especially brakes, please kindly pass it to someone experienced.

REPAIR KIT contains:

3x rubber washer

these washers are perfectly matching master cylinder bore to do the job, however their middle hole "to fit" is a lot smaller, so it's extremely hard to fit, but possible. Please compare:

original rubber seals (red, originally inside master cylinder) vs repair kit rubber seals (green, these 3 you will receive)

You would need tiny but large flat screwdriver to be able to fit these seals and not to damage, as you can see middle holes are really small to compare original seals, however, this is possible to do, I have done it myself, if you're concerned, please kindly do not purchase this kit and focus on new master cylinder. There is many more seals and orings inside, but these 3 are major/essential to bring back to life whole unit. Over the time old seals become weak and not working correctly. Master cylinder often is contaminated with dirt/worn old braking fluid. BRAKE FLUID MUST BE REPLACED IN WHOLE SYSTEM, otherwise new seals won't last for long and anyway you will experience problems after about 50miles of driving.
