Seller's Description

delivery would be 48 uk pounds including insurance AND TAKE ABOUT 8 DAYS FROM WHEN I SEND IT

I have some dishing forms made from thick pressure vessels like large gas bottles ( the forged ones not the thin pressed steel ones )

outside diameter is 7" ( 178mm ), some stamping on the base but not as heavy as normal.

depth is about 22mm

cut to about 5" (125mm ) tall aprox.

the weight is over 6kg and if requested lugs can be welded on to fix it down.

if required the areas with stamps can be welded up so you can grind and polish as needed
I do have many other sizes and types to choose from as well as these here.

I make many other items for making armour and similar work as well as reenactment ranging from forges, fireboxes, banner stakes and even a rather 'agricultural' anvil some of which I will be listing here.

I can send up to 25kg for £13 and do combine postage so if you want other items too up to a total of less than 25kg there will be no extra postage, just a small amount for packaging depending on the items.

you are welcome to collect in person and for that payment of cash on collection is best ( there is no P + P or handling charge for collected items ). as well as collecting from my workshop you can also see me at many historical re enactment events round the country where you can examine the tools in person or collect your purchases by arrangement. I prefer payment by cheque or Bacs but also accept paypal

post and packing is not just to cover the stamp on the parcel but also packaging materials and time taken to pack the item as well as drive to the post office and queue ( this can often be over an hour and a 5 mile round trip for those items not sent by courier ), the ammount above ( and often there is nothing above the price of the stamp etc ) the actual postage cost does in no way cover those costs but goes a little way towards it.

If you are not happy with the stated postage costs please buy from someone else.

if buying other items from me please contact me before paying as the postage options here do not allow enough variables and it will cost less  than stated

any questions, please ask before buying

Dear Sir, as someone who wants to start armouring I am very interested in the dishing form you offer. Is it possible to ship it to Germany and if yes, how much would it cost? Looking forward to your answer. Yours faithfully Thorben Paul

it looks like 27 uk pounds is the cheapest but can send up to 30kg for that. the dishing form is about 3kg but with packaging will be more like 4kg. I will look for cheaper delivery. there are many items not on here at the moment like the stake tools ball stakes up to 100mm dia made from ball bearings

Oh, alright. Speaking of 100mm ball stakes, what price should one expect for those? And is it possible to order one of them in the near future as well?

100mm ball stake made from a ball bearing with a 20mm square steel shank 50 uk pounds 70mm ball stake 27 uk pounds 50mm and smaller 15 uk pounds, also about 50 other shapes. yes they can be ordered now and put in the same parcel ( no extra shipping cost ). I am getting ready for a major event that I trade at so am busy at the moment but will try to get some pictures or even list a few here. I am on facebook as the iron dwarf and on a forum called iforgeiron dot com with the same name
