Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1974 John Hough Crime Drama DIRTY MARY, CRAZY LARRY, based on the novel by Richard Unekis and starring Peter Fonda, Susan George, Adam Roarke and Kenneth Tobey.
Down on their luck racers Larry and Deke steal from a supermarket manager to buy a car that will help them advance their racing chances. Their escape does not go as planned when Larry's one nightstand, Mary, tags along for the ride.
Poster art by Robert Tanenbaum. Tanenbaum was born in 1936 and is still a working painter and portraitist today in his 80s. He attended Washington University in St Louis. After army service he worked as an illustrator for four years. His work as a movie poster illustrator was in high demand from the early 1970s through the late 1980s.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
