This is a truly wonderful brooch.
Crafted from Bronze. 
An ancient Roman brooch, shaped like the Fibula bone this was a very popular thing for the Romans.

Width: 20mm
Very well made.
Hallmark exempt. 
Good vintage condition for its age.
Even though my jewellery is vintage I polish it to be worn straight away.
