The generated output CSV file can then be uploaded to various accounting and bookkeeping software, such as Xero, Pandle, QuickBooks and others. Important Information About the Script:
- VAT Handling:
- Postage labels purchased through Packlink are marked as REVERSE CHARGE for VAT.
- Orders shipped outside the UK, where has collected VAT, are marked as VAT Zero Rated.
- Standard UK sales are marked as VAT 20%.
- Orders sent to Global Shipping Warehouse are also marked as VAT Zero Rated.
- Sense Check Required: While the script processes most transactions accurately, it's essential to manually review the data for any anomalies and report issues for fixes.
- Exclusions: The report does not include details for order types, charges, adjustments, payouts, or other fees. However, seller fee reports are processed separately and included.
- Hold/Disputes: where hold/dispute has been withdrawn you have got your sale transaction back it will check that, as long as the date of sale and hold is in the same report, however would recommend you manually check all the Hold/Dispute transactions to avoid any duplicate entries.
