Question From artdecoglass [+11] Fri 08 Apr 2022 10:12:57 (BST) Hi Dave, could you check if this glass glows under the blacklight? Cheers, Peter

Answer From theElench [+102] Sat 09 Apr 2022 06:57:03 (BST) Good morning Peter, it does glow but so faintly it doesn't register on camera. If it has any Uranium content, it's very small and cannot be called Uranium Glass. Regards, Dave.

Answer From theElench [+102] Sat 09 Apr 2022 07:21:09 (BST) Hi again, you might be interested in a piece I've had for ages and never been able to I.D. Different people have variously said it might be Steuben, Stourbridge, or Stevens & Williams, with dates anywhere between 1880 & 1950. You seem to know more about Victorian glass than I do and might make a good profit on it if you can give a definite attribution. Unfortunately I can't add pics. to these messages so I'll list it tomorrow in Art Deco Glass for one week only (because I know it isn't) . Dave.

Question From artdecoglass [+11] Sun 10 Apr 2022 23:24:57 (BST) Hi Dave, the victorian glass was from Stourbridge, but I cannot identify who the maker is. Sorry, I am not interested as I have too many to be listed. I have a collectible Thomas Webb Burmese (Photo 188 in the book: "The big book of vaseline glass"), which I have not decided what I should do. I am looking for Walther cloud glasswares, vases, bowls or other types. If you find one, please let me know. Cheers, Peter
