The Acorn 130 stairlift with hinged track offers a practical solution when space at the bottom of the stairs is limited. If you have a door or walkway at the bottom of the stairs with no space available for the stairlift to park, then this is when a folding hinged track is required. A folding hinged track allows you to get off the stairlift safely at the very bottom. Once off, the stairlift can be sent up the stairs via remote control to a parking point, you can then manually fold the bottom of the track up leaving your doorway / walkway free of any obstruction.

Manual Hinge

The bottom of the track is hinged which allows the user to fold it away if it's causing an obstruction in front of a door or walkway for example.

Simple Controls

Controlling the stairlift is simple - apply light pressure on one of the arm controls and the stairlift will gently move along the track.

Remote Controls

You can call and send the stairlift up or down the staircase with the wireless remote controls when required. This can be handy if 2 or more people require the use of the stairlift.

Display screen

The display screen provides information on the stairlifts performance such as charging status.

Fold Up

The arm rests, foot plate and seat can be folded up against the wall to create space when the stairlift is not required for use.

Safety Edges

The safety sensors are located around the foot plate and carriage sides of the stairlift. They stop the stairlift automatically if they comes in to contact with any obstruction.

Plug in & go

No major electrical work is required for the installation of a stairlift. A standard plug socket near the bottom or top is the only requirement. The stairlift is then simply plugged in.
