Original British 11 inch x 8 3/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1953 Phil Karlson Crime Drama 99 RIVER STREET starring John Payne, Evelyn Keyes, Brad Dexter, Frank Faylen and Peggie Castle.
A taxi driver has to hunt down a jewel thief to clear his name for the murder of his wife. A walk on the wild side which keeps up a cracking pace from start to finish. This surprisingly gritty melodrama has darker elements than most, emphasised by the imaginative direction of Karlson, who was soon to direct the marvellous “Phoenix City Story”.
The Advertisement is in very good condition.
