This beautiful My Twinn doll is in very gently used conditon. She is very clean with eyelashes which appear to all be present. She is wearing her original outfit that is also in excellent condition. I also sell American Girl/Pleasant Company dolls and this dolls neck is not as tight as an American Girl doll but her neck is in totally in tact and turns and holds and perfectly and I do believe that this is the way it is supposed to be. Her hair is in excellent condition also and can be styled in several beautiful ways!!

Question From WackyCacky [0] Sun 22 Jan 2023 23:03:49 (BST) Hello, if her neck seems a little loose, it would mean that the glue is old and has given way. Do you have a rock bottom price you are looking for?

Answer From MillerCyberMall [+2094] Sun 22 Jan 2023 23:36:00 (BST) Hello and thanks for your inquiry! As I said in my description, this dolls neck appears to be a little loose which might be the way that she was made. This dolls neck is very clean as the rest of her body which has no glue nor any alterations to her neck at all, so I assume that her neck as probably as it was from the factory. If you are interested in purchasing this doll, I can let you have her for $50.00 plus the original shipping cost. If you would like to see a closer picture of her neck area, please let me know.--Judy

Question From WackyCacky [0] Mon 23 Jan 2023 00:15:37 (BST) Hi Judy, thanks for your quick response! I have over 50 My Twinns and I've had a few with loose heads. I've had to remove the plastic zip tie, open up the seam in the back of the doll, remove the glue that is on the disk attached to the body armature and re-glue the head to the body disk. Not sure why the glue fails on some dolls and not others. The necks/bodies of the dolls I've had to fix are clean on the outside because the glue issue is underneath the body fabric. Thanks again for the info. I'm going to pass on her. I'm sure you'll find her a nice home.

Answer From MillerCyberMall [+2094] Mon 23 Jan 2023 02:09:11 (BST) Thanks for the information that you provided here for me about this doll. This is the first My Twinn doll that I have ever had. I got this doll from my niece and I have had her for several years and this dolls has remained in the same condition. I am going to leave this listing as is because she still seems to be a nice sturdy doll. Thanks and best wishes to you!--Judy

Question From WackyCacky [0] Mon 23 Jan 2023 04:04:15 (BST) Hi Judy, I've got some additional info for you to help you sell the doll quickly. My Twinn has over 40 face molds - some common and some rare. Your doll is a Kate face mold and sadly, a very common face. Your $75 price and even your $50 offer are high. Besides her head being loose, the eyes tends to fail after awhile and from what I can see of your doll, they are starting to fail. They may look fine to you but I unfortunately have bought my share of dolls with fading eyes so I know what they look like. I also think her hair looks dry which is something that can't be fixed. More than likely, she'll need a new wig. Collectors are very particular about hair. Lastly, I don't think a lot of people know about the ebid website. I'd never heard of it until recently. You'd probably have better luck on eBay, Mercari or Poshmark and list her around in the $25-$30 range. I recently bought a Kate in pristine condition with box, extra clothes, and all original paperwork for $45 total including shipping. A couple months ago I bought a Kate in great condition locally for $25. That seller had originally listed her for $50 and after 6 months or so, lowered the price to the $25 that I paid. Hopefully this is helpful information. Just trying to help you get her to new home. Take care. Cathy

I will lower the price to $50.00 and except a lower offer and add some of the details that you have provided me about these dolls mainly her name, Kate.
