Post Card PC S.S. Klondike Paddlewheeler In Winter Whitehorse Yukon L-1092-F New
I bought this on a recent trip to Whitehorse, Yukon and never used it.
This Postcard is of the steamship The “S.S. Klondike” paddlewheeler in downtown Whitehorse beside the Yukon River taken in the winter with a fresh covering of snow.
This Postcard is new and has never been mailed.
It measures 5-7/8 X 4 inches.
This postcard is in excellent condition.
The rear reads:
When winter temperatures Plummet, frost frames the S.S. Klondike, a restored paddlewheeler resting on the shore of the Yukon River in Whitehorse. One of the fleet of over 200 that plied the territory's rivers before the construction of the present highway system, this sternwheeler carried cargo and passengers Between Whitehorse and Dawson City from 1937 untill the 1950's.
