This listing is for 1 New Goody Ouchless Smooth Hair Brush.
While these are new, straight out of manufacturer's packaging, several of them show cracking within, near the handle, as can be seen in the example pictures.
The ones in the pictures are of ones already sold, as examples. Yours will be similarly cracked. I select it after the sale.
It seems like this just happens to this style of brush, it seems to have happened to all of the ones left now.
It's possible it also has sunken bristles, bent bristles, scuffs, etc. This is how I opened them out of the box.
This was the old rating system I used, but I don't think anything left is better than 3 anymore, and they may all extend to the back by now, when you really look deep in it:
- 5- Near Perfect - I will chose the best one I can find. I no longer have any that show no evidence of cracking.
- 4 - Very Small Imperfections Showing - Just the smallest very beginnings of cracking appearing.
- 3 - More Obvious Cracking - Most of them have a fair sized crack visible. Doesn't look structurally immediately worrying.
- 2 - Deep Appearing Cracking - There are some with some larger or multiple cracks from several directions.
- 1 - Worst Cracking Extends To Back - These are the ones I would have auctioned before. These are the worst ones, with the cracks extending all the way to the back of the handle to the head. I do not think I have found any others where the crack could be felt with a fingernail from the outside. All options should only be internal cracking.
I have not had any feedback that the brushes do not function as intended for the ones sold over the last several years. I was told one lasted for 8 months on one where the crack could not be felt from the outside. I've sold about 200 now and have not had the feedback, so I hope they are still going after these years.

I have counted the 2008 brushes as having 87 bristles.
This brush has 87 bristles. I do not have any of the brushes with 38 bristles that are for thick hair or with 61 bristles, any longer.

I've been told they last about 8 months with the larger crack. It doesn't go all the way through/ can't be felt from the surface. I've sold a lot this way and haven't had very much feedback, so I think they must last for awhile for them. -Gina

That is how her other brushes broke; they started with cracks in the handle. I really wish that we could have made this work. I would love to have the brushes for my daughter but just can't pay that for cracked handles. Thank you for your time.
