Willow Creek Cabochon: Sensuous Landscape; Streamers & Orbs in Pinks and Mauves

The sensuous and flattering flesh-pink, brown and mauve colors of this older material contains desirable orbicular and streamer patterns. The longer you look at this piece, the more your eyes will latch onto interesting images in the stone. The dark line is not a crack, but part of the pattern. A nice example that will fire your jewelry designing imagination.

Willow Creek is one of the premier "porcelain" jaspers (so-named because of the glass-like polish which they take). Although there is still a trickle of Willow Creek that makes its way to the market, this piece features pink and mauve colors and tight patterns I see see ever less frequently at shows in recent years.
