"TRI-REST" MANUFACTURED PRODUCT;
TRIUMPH PRE-UNIT PILLION FOOTREST TO FRAME STUD AND NUT - TO FIX THE PILLION FOOTREST TO THE FRAME ON MOST RIGID FRAME MODELS UP TO 1954.
This stud and nut is to fix the pillion footrest to the frame. Used on rigid frame models up to 1954. Although not used on 1954 models of T100 and T110. Later on, on swinging-arm models, the stud was cast into the pillion footrest as one piece.
This stud is sized as per the original stud - 3/8" cei 26tpi x 2.1/2" overall length. The stud includes a 3/8" cei nut. The stud is hand-made in England on a lathe. All bright zinc plated.
Triumph part numbers;
- Stud (1) - 82-1696 (F1696) - 3/8" x 2.1/2" overall length.
- Nut (1) - PO172A - 3/8" cei 26tpi full nut. Bar-turned single chamfer.
