Hardcover 1959 first edition, first print in an unclipped dust jacket.

Dust jacket is in a protective sleeve, a little fraying and very small chips to top of spine of jacket and to bottom of spine, small chip to top front corner of jacket and bottom front corner, some very small tears (fraying) to jacket edges, 1/2” inch tear to top rear edge, shelf rubbing to rear spine edge of jacket, small area of shelf rubbing to front spine edge. Inside fly leafs of jacket are excellent with original price of 15s net.

Green cloth covered hardcovers are excellent for age with gold gilt lettering to the spine, light shelf wear to bottom of spine and bottom edges and corners.

Previous owners name quite small at top of first end page “M. H. Turner”, excellent clean crisp uncreased pages with very very light even tanning and just the odd streak mark to edges of a couple of pages.

Very tight binding with no looseness or damage to binding.
